ALGEPI Project’s Emine Ozge Yildirim-Vranckaert Recognized in “100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics” 2024 by Women in AI Ethics

Emine Ozge Yildirim-Vranckaert, a doctoral researcher at one of ALGEPI’s consortium partners, KU Leuven CiTiP, has been honoured in the “100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics” list for 2024, a recognition from Women in AI Ethics (WAIE). WAIE, since its inception in 2018, focuses on acknowledging, representing, and empowering women in AI Ethics. The annual “100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics™” list celebrates both rising stars and established leaders in the field.
 
Selected by a panel of esteemed AI professionals, this honour highlights Emine’s dedicated efforts in human rights law and ethical AI. Her extensive legal knowledge across multiple jurisdictions, combined with her doctoral research on mental autonomy and freedom of thought, uniquely positions her to tackle the intricate challenges of the digital age.
